Galilee House

2018 - 2022

Plot area 3000 sqm
House area 550 sqm

Photography  Amit Geron

Single level house, seated on sloping topography, located at a Galilee village, is seated at the foot of Sefad mountain.

White, cube shaped building, open from east and west sides, is laid on the ground, and contrasts the natural landscape overlooking the house.

The cube, suspended from the south side, contrasts the topography and uses elevation differences to create a parking space and a basement.

Entrance is via a stairway climbing the natural slope which creates a feeling of a walk in a natural environment.

Level ground on opposite side of the house is used for a swimming pool and a pergola, shading a hosting area.

Each residential unit design includes a porch with access to main court.
